Monday saw mostly cloudy skies and seasonal temperatures for most of the state.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says rain is expected to develop during the overnight hours into Tuesday.
The rain should be gone by Tuesday afternoon. Winds are expected to develop, and temperatures could drop as a result.
Monday's overnight temperatures are expected to be in the high 30s.
Colder temperatures are expected for most of the week.
