The Garden State saw wet and gloomy weather for most of Thursday, but skies are expected to clear for Friday into the weekend.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that the rain should last through Thursday night. Parts of the state could see heavy rainfall, with about 1 inch total. Curren says that winds have been strong with gusts of 15-30 mph.
The rain is expected to clear by Friday. The morning should see some clouds, but skies should clear by Friday afternoon. Temperatures are expected to reach the high-50s.
Saturday should see a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures are expected to remain cool, at about 52 degrees.
Sunday is expected to see a mix of sun and clouds. There could be a few rain showers. Temperatures should reach the mid-50s.
