The Garden State is seeing hot and hazy weather this Wednesday.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the state is very dry, as there hasn't been any significant rainfall in the state since Aug. 11. Curren says there is a small chance of rain for Thursday.
Temperatures for Wednesday reached above 90 degrees in several areas of New Jersey by the afternoon. Overnight hours are expected to cool into the low 70s.
Thursday is expected to see more hot and humid weather with temperatures again reaching above 90 degrees in some parts of the state. There is a chance of a late-day thunderstorm.
Friday should see partly cloudy skies with temperatures slightly cooler at 80 degrees.
The Labor Day weekend is looking to see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the mid-80s.
