Skies across New Jersey are mostly cloudy as rainstorms develop for later this week.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says scattered showers should start to develop by Tuesday afternoon and heavy rain is possible for Wednesday.
Temperatures for Monday afternoon were in the mid-70s to low-80s. Overnight skies should remain mostly cloudy with temperatures cooling into the high-60s.
Tuesday is expected to be mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers for the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to be warm, with highs in the low-80s.
Wednesday is expected to see heavy rainfall. Curren says there could be some periods of localized flooding from the rain. Temperatures are expected to reach the low-70s.
Thursday should see mostly cloudy skies with a few light rain showers. Temperatures should cool to the mid-60s for most of the day.
