New Jersey saw cloudy skies for most of Wednesday and parts of the state saw scattered rain showers. Temperatures were much cooler than the last few days as well.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says the weather has been especially bad for allergy sufferers, as there is an overabundance of pollen in the air.
Skies are expected to clear slightly for the overnight hours, but some clouds will remain. Temperatures should cool to the mid-50s.
Thursday should see mostly sunny skies with a light breeze. Temperatures are expected to warm to the high 70s.
Friday is expected to be sunny as well, with temperatures in the lower 80s.
