Wawa Inc. has been ordered to pay $1.4 million to settle a lawsuit that says they intentionally didn't pay overtime to more than 300 assistant general managers.
Anthony Gervasio, of Riverside, and Michael Dinse, of Brick, were both part of the lawsuit filed back in 2017.
The lawsuit alleges they worked more than 40 hours a week without receiving overtime as required by federal law.
According to the order, each of the workers in the lawsuit will receive an average of $86.74 for each week they worked.
Gervasio worked for the chain from 2006 to 2016, while Dinse worked from 2009 to 2014.
