A Brooklyn man was arrested after a monthslong investigation into alleged theft by deception and credit card fraud targeting a Wall Township business, police said.

Wall Township police said the investigation began Dec. 2, 2025, after officers received a report of fraudulent financial activity involving a business on Industrial Road.

Investigators determined that someone had obtained the victim’s credit card information and used it to make several unauthorized transactions.

Police identified the suspect as 35-year-old Quashon Burton.

Burton surrendered at Wall Township Police Headquarters on March 24 and was charged with theft by deception and credit card fraud, according to police.

He was jailed in Monmouth County pending a court appearance.
