Work has been completed to repair broken water mains at three locations in Hoboken. Veolia reports water service has been restored to all impacted customers.
The city says road restoration continues Thursday in the area and roads remain closed in the vicinity of Grand and Adams streets between Fifth and Sixth streets. Hoboken residents are urged to avoid all the areas where crews continue to make road repairs.
The Hoboken Office of Emergency Management issued an emergency tow order Wednesday night. Vehicles parked in the area of Sixth Street between Grand and Adams streets were towed to an uptown lot.
Owners can get their cars back free of charge by calling the Hoboken Police Department non-emergency number at 201-420-2100.
