? A 30-inch water main break in North Bergen caused major headaches for commuters and residents Friday.
The break forced the closure of Tonnelle Avenue between 51st and 69th streets. The road was reopened by the evening, but conditions were still sloppy in the area.
When News 12 New Jersey arrived on the scene, the water could be seen gushing 5 feet high out of the ground. Flooding was present in the parking lots of nearby businesses, including GE Energy.
