Two Wallington parents are facing charges after their 3-day-old infant died, authorities said.

According to investigators, Joseph Chmielewski and Juliann Garner-Chmielewski failed to seek medical attention for their daughter, who was apparently born at home, until it was too late. Police said the parents only called 911 when they realized she was unresponsive.

Joseph Chmielewski and Juliann Garner-Chmielewski are both charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
