WalletHub has come out with its list of “2019’s Best & Worst States to Drive in,” and New Jersey does not rank well.
According to the list, New Jersey ranks No. 42 on the list of the best states to drive in.
WalletHub compared all 50 states across four key dimensions: cost of ownership & maintenance, traffic & infrastructure, safety, and access to vehicles & maintenance.
New Jersey ranked 48th in traffic and infrastructure, 41st in cost of ownership and maintenance, seventh for safety, and 14th for access to vehicles and maintenance.
Oregon was ranked the best state to drive in, followed by Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, and Texas.
Hawaii was ranked the worst state to drive in.
