Volunteers at the Montclair Salvation Army tried to ensure nobody went hungry this Thanksgiving.
Volunteers served about 120 meals in Montclair. Nearly 1,000 meals were sent to area shelters as well.
The sluggish economy didn?t stop people from donating their time. Approximately 160 volunteers turned out for the holiday.
?We seem to have volunteers because people realize it?s tough times for many, so people want to help out,? says Maj. Alister Bale, of the Salvation Army.
