First responders had a busy week in Somerset County. From the first wildfires of the season to the fiery crash involving a freightliner tanker truck.

To answer the calls are about 45 volunteer firefighters in Martinsville.

Kyle Fernandes, Rich Kronengold and Jack Bradley were among the dozens of volunteer firefighters at the fiery crash on Route 22 early Wednesday morning.

Sunday night, just 2 miles from the Martinsville Fire House, they worked together to put out a brush fire off Chimney Rock Road

Just two days prior, they were mutual aid in Bound Brook where two buildings were on fire.

A band of first responders who could use some help themselves.

Fire Chief Kyle Fernandes says they are always looking for volunteers.
