A display is now up at the Morris County Library in Whippany focusing on the Vietnam War.
The display features facts about Vietnam and Morris County's connections to the war.
Visitors can also leave messages of appreciation to Vietnam veterans.
"It's impressive," says Albert Nesbit, senior vice commander of VFW Post 2833. "We didn't get anything when we came home, so to see people wanting to learn about it is nice."
The display re-creates the Vietnam Wall by listing the names of the 67 soldiers and sailors from Morris County who are listed on the Vietnam Memorial in Washington, D.C.
"I've been doing these displays going on about 10 years," says Morris County Veterans service officer Charles Jurgensen. "I think this one is important in that it's the 50th anniversary of the wall. We have a lot of veterans coming down who knew many of these people."
The display will be up throughout the entire month of November.
