New video is showing the bizarre way the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources stocks its high mountain lakes.
The process is called "air stocking."
Tiny fish, anywhere from one to three inches long, are dropped from an airplane.
Around 95-percent of them survive the fall.
According to experts, the practice actually puts less stress on the fish than doing it from the ground.
Transporting the fish by ground also apparently takes longer.
Officials stock the lakes to provide fishing opportunities for the public.
