A total of 17 businesses in one Hudson County town are dealing with the aftermath of a group of vandals.
Jersey City police are looking for at least two people who vandalized the businesses in the city's Little India section early Tuesday morning. Some of the vandalism was caught on security camera, so police are hoping that could lead to an arrest.
"They parked their car at White Castle and then started doing all the graffiti work on all the different businesses," says Mike Vasdey, whose grocery store bares the mark of the vandals' work.
By Thursday, most of the vandalism was gone. However, community leaders are still upset by the incident.
Raju Patel, president of the Jersey City Asian Merchant Association, spoke with city leaders to ensure the vandalism stops now.
According to the police report, the suspects are three Hispanic males and one Hispanic female. No arrests have been made. Anyone who may have any information is asked to contact the Jersey City police at 201-547-5245.
