An Upper Saddle River man’s hobby has transformed into its own Christmas village for all ages.
Bob Santomarco began collecting small Christmas village pieces 35 years ago, and now the collection has grown into a two-room Christmas village scene.
"This village is just a part of my own sort of Christmas spirit and feeling. As I build it it's like a part of me that wants to reside in there,” said Santomarco.
Santomarco starts setting the village up in October and it occupies his home's family room and great room until mid-January.
