United Community Corporation in Newark to host spring activities for kids

The nonprofit United Community Corporation is set to host a series of spring activities every day this week at the West Side Park Community Center for ages 11 to 17.

Community leaders in Newark are looking to fill the time of young people who are concerned about any increase in crime.
The nonprofit United Community Corporation is set to host a series of spring activities every day this week at the West Side Park Community Center for ages 11 to 17. It will feature a new financial literacy game this year called "Real Life Monopoly."
News 12 New Jersey's Amanda Lee spoke with the program coordinator to learn more about the nonprofit.
