Two Brooklyn residents have been indicted for allegedly sex trafficking a 16-year-old girl, the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office says.

Officials say 38-year-old Carlton Foster and 19-year-old Jaeandrea Herriot were arrested after detectives found prostitution-related messages between them and the teenager.

Investigators then uncovered online ads that featured the girl and digital communications that allegedly showed she was being promoted for sex.
