Tuition could be going up at
Montclair State University,
according to a published report by the school’s paper,
The Montclarion.
University President Jonathan Koppell announced last week that tuition and fees for students will
increase anywhere from 3% to 5% for the 2022-2023 academic year.
The hike will fund a pay
raise for faculty and staff, partly to keep in line with inflation, The Montclarion reported.
The increase still needs
approval from the board of trustees.
