Truck and car fires create problems for drivers during Thursday morning commute

Two vehicle fires caused problems for drivers in parts of New Jersey during Thursday morning's commute.

A truck burst into flames on Route 208 South near Grandview Avenue in Wyckoff.

Video from the scene showed flames shooting high into the air as the truck burned.

The vehicle was destroyed in the fire.

There is no word on what caused the blaze or whether anyone was injured.

Farther south in Ocean County, a car caught fire Thursday morning in Manchester Township.

Flames could be seen consuming the front of the vehicle.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire before it spread to a nearby home or another vehicle parked behind it.

Officials have not released a cause of that fire.
