A house fire brought a large emergency response to Glen Rock early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out just after 2:30 a.m. at a home on Hanover Place.
Police said responding officers were able to shut off a gas line near the fire and help keep the situation under control until firefighters arrived.
Multiple fire departments from surrounding communities responded to provide mutual aid, and crews spent nearly three hours battling the blaze.
Authorities say the home's residents were safely evacuated and no injuries were reported.
Police noted there were numerous reports of lightning strikes in the area before the fire was reported, but investigators have not determined whether lightning played a role in the blaze.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
