Trick-or-treating has been given the green light in Toms River.
Hours will be from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Police are asking trick-or-treaters to wear a mask or face covering and practice social distancing.
They say residents who don't want to participate should turn off their front porch light and close their front door. Those that do want to participate should keep their porch lights on.
