Service members, their families, Gold Star Mothers and others gathered at the New Jersey Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Holmdel for a tribute to the veterans of the Vietnam War Sunday.
The memorial includes a wall with more than 1,500 names of people from New Jersey who died in Vietnam.
During the tribute, six more people were honored by the foundation's In Memory Program that honors veterans who served in Vietnam and later died as a result of complications from their tour.
Lillie Nuble, the director of the Department of Veterans Affairs in Newark, spoke to the crowd and reminded veterans how they can get help obtaining their benefits.
