As politicians, community leaders and developers tout Trenton's neighborhood revitalization work, others say not enough progress has been made.
The city's latest effort at Calhoun and Dunham streets aims to build a 42-unit mixed income neighborhood on a former industrial site. Some residents feel there are too many neighborhoods where houses have been in deplorable conditions for years.
"It's out of our hands and there's nothing we can do but sit and wait," says resident Jermaine McKinney.
Mayor Douglas Palmer is pleased with what's being done now, however, and says there are more projects on the way.
"I'm proud of what we've accomplished, but I still recognize there's more work that needs to be done and there always is," he says.
