For the second time in just over three years, toll rates have risen on the New Jersey Turnpike and Garden State Parkway.
Tolls rose an average of about 50 percent on both roads, meaning that people driving the length of the turnpike one-way are now paying $13.85 instead of $9.05
On the Parkway, main toll plazas have gone up to $1.50.
