A 2-year-old child was rescued after getting onto a luggage conveyor belt at Newark Liberty International Airport.
Port Authority police said the toddler climbed onto the belt at the JetBlue check-in area in Terminal A.
The child was later found at least one level down in the checked baggage room.
The incident happened last week. Two officers rescued the child, who was not injured.
