Thunderstorms made their way through New Jersey Tuesday evening, which have the potential to cause flooding and damage.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that multiple clusters of storms will move through the state between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. Curren says that these widely-scattered storms have the potential to produce heavy rain, lots of lighting and winds in excess of 60 mph.

The storms have the potential to knock out power to thousands of New Jersey residents and comes only a few weeks after Tropical Storm Isaias knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of New Jerseyans for several days.
Tuesday’s storms should clear out by the overnight hours. Temperatures overnight will drop into the mid-60s, with mainly clear skies.
Wednesday will see sunny skies, with temperatures in the low-80s.
