Thousands of tailgaters to flock to MetLife Stadium ahead of Jets vs. Dolphins Black Friday game

For millions of Americans, football is just as much a part of Thanksgiving as turkey. On Thursday, fans can feast their eyes on three games and for the first time ever, there will be more to watch with the leftovers on Friday.
News 12 New Jersey’s Isabel Litterst visited Secaucus Junction where crowds will surely takeover the major public transit hub.
This season, the NFL will introduce a Black Friday game which will be down the road at MetLife Stadium. The New York Jets will take on the Miami Dolphins on their home turf which also happens to be right next to American Dream - the second largest mall in the country.
For those visiting the area, expect to see every spot filled with tailgaters and eager shoppers Friday morning. The sanctioned tailgating area does take up some of the shared parking available for people going to the mall or stadium.
MetLife Stadium seats over 80,000 people and Jets fans are notorious for their game day turnout. And Black Friday shoppers are known for their dedication to chasing a good deal.
Tailgate technician Tommy Ketterer says, "I mean it will be the only NFL game going on. You've got the second largest mall in the country, 30,000 spots. I think it will be pretty busy out here."
