Thousands participate in 46th annual Spring Lake 5-mile run

The event brought runners along Ocean Avenue, up and around Lake Como, back into town at Ocean Avenue before it reaches the finish line between Salem and Atlantic avenues.

Nearly 13,000 people took part in the 46th annual Spring Lake 5-mile run on Saturday.
The event brought runners along Ocean Avenue, up and around Lake Como, back into town at Ocean Avenue before it reaches the finish line between Salem and Atlantic avenues.
People of all skill levels and ages were encouraged to participate in the run and support its cause.
For the past 21 years, Friends of the Spring Lake Five, Inc have donated over $3.3 million to local causes and charities.
