News 12 New Jersey spoke with Sen. Cory Booker about the riots at the Capitol.
Sen. Booker says there needs to be accountability, and Congress should launch an investigation into impeachment.
"This was a pretty serious breach in my opinion of the president's constitutional duty,” says Sen. Booker. “He swore an oath to uphold Constitution and part of that as we see in the 25th amendment was what we were trying to do yesterday. So, I believe that Congress shouldn't just turn the other cheek and turn the other way and allow this to go into the annals of history as is. There must be accountability. There must be atonement and to do that I think an impeachment investigation is certainly justified."
