For Halloween celebrators of all ages, costumes are often expensive and wasteful.
Buying something you will wear for one night and then throw away isn’t always worth it. However, with the help of local vintage stores, you can create a costume yourself.
In today’s The Real Deal, News 12 visited Another Man's Treasure, a vintage store in Jersey City.
Unlike other vintage shops, Another Man’s Treasure has items dating all the way back to the late 1800s.
“There's not that many vintage shops that cover as broad a spectrum of era as we do,” said co-owner Warren Franz.
Not only is vintage shopping fun, it’s also sustainable, according to Franz.
The items available for purchase can be used long after Halloween is over and have great resale value as well.
