Barbecue enthusiasts have something to celebrate this weekend.
Whether you're firing up the grill for the holiday or not, falling meat prices have shoppers rejoicing.
Caleb Silver, of Investopedia, says some pork prices are down as much as 68%.
Prices for chicken wings aren't down quite as much, but are still seeing a significant drop of some 33.4% ahead of the holiday weekend.
Nick Scarillo, owner of Meat Depot in Edison, is trying to meet his customers in the middle with "choice" cuts of meat.
These cuts are much more affordable, and Scarillo says they are flying off the shelves.
"Sold out, yeah."
Shoppers at Scarillo's store, like Cindy Miller, say "it's hard to feed your family anymore."
But in his shop, employees have actually been lowering prices further.
The price of chicken wings dropped by a full pound over the course of just one week.
