The Real Deal: Fairfield retailer offers Memorial Day deals on grills for all budgets
A Fairfield retailer is offering Memorial Day deals on grills for those looking to shop local and avoid online and big box stores.
Whether you're cooking up the hot dogs or burgers - there is still time to get the grill going before the guests make their way over for memorial day celebrations.
Scott Pesavento the owner Hemlock Hardware on the Post Road in Fairfield says there are a few different options when buying a new grill including the brands America loves like - a Weber, Big Green Egg and Treager.
Pesavento says they sell at the lowest market price and this weekend some of the grills are on sale too.
If you're in the market for a new gas grill, Pesvento says there's a clear winner.
"The Weber line dominates the market the best value you're going to find today on the gas grill side its the 2 burner grill nice beautiful enclosed cart nice clean design," he says.
He says if you're on a budget and don't want to break the bank then there is wiggle room.
"You want all the bells and whistles you want the best grill Weber makes at the best value this is the best value for the premium look, the GENESIS 325 has a sear station on the right-hand side and three burners to create a really high concentration of heat to create that restaurant sear look," he says.
And if you're looking for something a little different try the Green Egg. The Green Egg can be used as a pizza oven, a grill, and even a conventional oven.
If you're in the market for a high-tech, high-end grill with all the new modern features, Pesavento says there's one clear winner.
"Traeger is a blend of both Weber and Green Egg grills. We have a grill and a smoker that uses wood pellets. They are all Wi-Fi app enabled on your phone so you can control your temperature and set it right from your phone"
Pesavento says assembly and delivery is always free of charge at Hemlock Hardware.
