A 2018 estimate put the number of adult guardianships in the U.S. at 1.3 million. And now there's a renewed push to change state laws and reform the system.
Krystal is an attorney and an arbitrator, with three decades of legal experience. Montanti is a guardianship reform advocate. She is also the daughter of a woman who was declared incapacitated without due process.
