The latest ‘Avengers’ trailer has dropped and fans are hyped
The newest trailer for “Avengers: Endgame” dropped Thursday morning and fans of the franchise are excited.
Marvel Entertainment posted the trailer on its official YouTube channel and it racked in over 21 million views in about 12 hours.
The trailer comes on the heels of the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe feature “Captain Marvel,” which debuted at a historic $153 million.
It’s safe to say that superhero movies strike a chord in many people’s lives.

“Everybody wants to escape. Everyone wants to be the hero of the story,” says Brian Coe, owner of Comic Sanctuary in Highland Park.
But what about those who are in the dark about superheroes and comic books? What makes these movies and stories resonate with so many?
“The hero myth – the basic storytelling, it’s that with colorful costumes,” says Coe. “It’s science-fiction, it’s horror, it’s action.”
Coe says that more women are also getting involved thanks to movies like “Captain Marvel,” staring Brie Larson, and 2017’s “Wonder Woman,” starring Gal Gadot.
“More women are seeing movies, more women are into comics and go to comics conventions,” Coe says.
Coe says that anyone interested in learning more about comics and superheroes – there is something out there for you.
“I ask people, ‘What kind of shows do you watch?’ I can find a book that’s similar to that,” he says.
“Avengers: Endgame” debuts April 26.
