After a two-year hiatus, The Christmas Light Show is back for its 13th season in its new location at the Spring Meadow Golf Course in Wall Township.
Organizer Dan Brateris says The Christmas Light Show won’t just be about lights. He says, “Pyrotechnics, Christmas lights, moving lights, fog, lasers, all sorts of great effects, it's like going to see a show at Disney World."
Brateris, an electrical engineer, says this event was held at his friends’ homes through the 2016 season, after which they took a break.
He says, "We tried a plan to restructure the way we were going to host the show to see if we could satisfy what Wall Township wanted from us, to have the show in the location it was previously at, and we weren't really successful in that so, we're trying this location here and we have high hopes it will be a great show here too."

Brateris says the proceeds from this event will be donated to RallyCap Sports, a nonprofit dedicated to providing recreational sports for children and young adults with special needs.

"We all believe that if you have talent and you enjoy doing things and you can make other people's lives better with it, then you should do that and that's what all of us working on this show do,” he says.

Brateris says Thursday was the first full night the lights will be on. He says, aside from the donations collected, they don't make any money putting on The Christmas Light Show. Instead, he says it’s this is about celebrating and putting smiles on people's faces.

The shows will be held this Saturday and the following weekend as well.
More information about the show can be found here.
