Matteo Marciano, a third grader from Mackay Elementary School in Tenafly, is a published author working on his third book.

Marciano is the creator of "The Adventures of Jack & Jill" mystery series. The 9-year-old has already written two books.

"I started, actually, as soon as I finished the first sketch of my second book because then I needed to get the illustrations and then edit and revise all the chapters. But yeah, I'm working on the third," Marciano said.

Marciano also has some advice for aspiring writers -- he encourages them to keep their ideas in their minds and in a notebook.
