A pair of surfing dogs were at the Jersey Shore Wednesday to remind people to keep the ocean clear of pollution.
Surfing Dogs "Booker D" and "Onyx Sure Pound" were showing off their tricks in Sea Bright. The goal was to bring awareness to the environmental group Clean Ocean Action.
The dogs are known for philanthropy work by using their skills to get people to pay attention to important issues.
“To team up with Clean Ocean Action is a perfect marriage for us,” says trainer Adam “Pops” Steinberg. “We come from Florida. Without clean water, without clean air, we couldn’t do what we do.”
Clean Ocean Action is hosting an event called Sandy Paws Walk FUR Clean Water on Saturday, Sept. 15.
