A weak frontal boundary is moving through the area. The bundle of rain/storms is east of New Jersey.
Clouds have collected but will slowly clear through the night. The winds will be breezy behind this weather system and will help to usher in another chilly burst of Canadian air for the night. Nighttime lows dip to the mid- and upper 40s and low 50s.
Fair weather from the Great Lakes returns on Saturday, bringing dry and sunny conditions and pleasant temperatures.
There is an offshore storm that could push a sneaky swell toward the coast. This might kick up some rip currents. Please be a little more cautious around the water and swim in front of the lifeguard stand.
Sunday is a little warmer with plenty of sunshine helping to move the needle just a touch warmer for Sunday afternoon. The same goes for Monday.
There may be a quick sprinkle on Tuesday, but I think that system fizzles. The next opportunity for much-needed rain is this time next week. Until then, the early autumn air is taking center billing on the weather marquee for the foreseeable future.
