If you are traveling to an ocean-facing beach, the only thing to keep in mind is that there is a moderate to bordering on high risk of rip currents. Please be careful and always make sure you only enter the water where and when lifeguards are.
While we will not reach heat wave status across Long Island next week, you will notice the heat and humidity a bit more than today with high temperatures in the upper 80s.
We do need some rain as abnormally dry conditions continue, but much of the next 10 days still look dry other than a spotty shower chance next Thursday and Friday.
Have a great weekend!
