Study finds New Jersey was most moved-from state in 2023

A new study has found that New Jersey is once again the most moved-from state, for the sixth consecutive year.

The study was conducted by United Van Lines. The study found that 65% of total moves happening in New Jersey were out of state in 2023.

The study found that the reasons for the moves included retirement, lifestyle changes and the cost of living.

Other states rounding out the Top five include Illinois, North Dakota, New York and Michigan.
