Some young musicians are shipping off to Ireland to compete with bands from all over the world.
The group of musical teens practices with the Erin Loughran School of Irish Music at the Woodlawn House for Art and Music in the Bronx.
The students already won first place at the National Irish Music Festival in the U.S., and traveled to Ireland for the same music competition last year.
The musicians are from all over the tri-state area, but say they feel at home playing Irish music together in the borough.
