Extra officers were on hand for the 97th annual Far Hills Races to crack down on underage drinking.
The event dates back to 1920 and brings in 35,000 spectators. Officials say underage drinking has been a problem in recent years.
The Somerset County prosecutor decided to step in this year after 36 arrests were made in 2016. This year, anyone visibly intoxicated wasn't allowed into the race and those old enough to drink were given a wristband.
Signs were also set up to discourage underage drinking.
Police told News 12 Saturday afternoon that 25 arrests had been made so far. Some were for underage drinking.
Organizers say that the majority of people were very well behaved.
