At least two hospitals in New Jersey celebrated Tuesday milestone releases of COVID-19 patients.

At least two hospitals in New Jersey celebrated Tuesday milestone releases of COVID-19 patients.
Hackensack University Medical Center released its 1,000th patient, while JFK Medical Center discharged its 600th.
Hackensack released 58-year-old Karan Omidvari, M.D., of Manhattan. Omidvari had been sick with the virus for about a month. His wife says that she is excited to have her husband back home again.
“He’s very excited that we’re going home,” she says. “We’re excited and so happy…We thank the team for the hard work, and we’re just pleased that we had a good outcome.
Daisy Guardad from Dunellen was released from JFK Medical Center.
There are currently 6,476 people in New Jersey hospitals being treated for COVID-19.
