Authorities say a makeup artist from Bergen County has been charged in connection to the sexual assault of a child.

According to the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, 18-year-old Dilayda Askoy, of Cliffside Park, was aware of the sexual assault of a 13-year-old. She is also accused of knowingly providing alcohol and marijuana to the juvenile on multiple occasions.

Prosecutors say Khaled Khalil, 19, was arrested last week and charged with one count of second-degree sexual assault and one count of third-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Askoy faces a third-degree endangering the welfare of a child charge. She was released with conditions.
