President Donald Trump is expected to hold a rally later this month in Wildwood.
The Trump campaign made the announcement Monday.
The rally will be held Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. at Wildwoods Convention Center.
Wildwood is in the second congressional district represented by Jeff Van Drew, who switched parties last month to Republican from Democrat.
Michael Glassner, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign says, "President Trump looks forward to returning to the Garden State to celebrate his message of 'Promises Made, Promises Kept.'"
A Republican hasn't carried New Jersey in a presidential election since George H.W. Bush back in 1988.
