NYPD: Jewelry, bags taken in burglary at American Dream CEO's Bronx home

Authorities say at least one burglar entered the Bronx home of the CEO of the American Dream megamall and made off with jewelry and handbags.

Authorities say at least one burglar entered the Bronx home of the CEO of the American Dream megamall and made off with jewelry and handbags.
The break-in happened Saturday shortly after 5 p.m. at the home of 46-year-old Don Ghermezian in the Bronx borough of New York City.
Police say the burglar entered by forcing their way in through a rear balcony door.
The suspect stole jewelry and approximately 30 handbags before fleeing, according to police.
No arrests have been made. The NYPD was asking anyone with information to call 1-800-577-TIPS.
