A New Jersey woman is suing a country club for $30,000, claiming a waiter damaged her handbag by spilling wine on it.
According to the woman, the incident happened back in September of 2017 when she was dining at the Alpine Country Club in Demarest.
The woman says a waiter damaged her Hermès handbag when he spilled wine on it.
She says when she complained, the club and its insurance company dismissed the whole incident.
She's also suing the waiter for damages and the club for hiring him.
Hermès bags often cost tens of thousands of dollars.
