Authorities in Puerto Rico have filed charges against the grandfather of the toddler who fell off a Royal Caribbean cruise ship.
Salvatore Anello was arrested Monday and charged with negligent manslaughter.
The ship was docked in San Juan back in July when prosecutors say Anello lifted the 2-year-old up to an open window.
According to prosecutors, they say he thought the window was closed and the glass would hold her.
An attorney for the family is blaming Royal Caribbean for leaving the window open.
The family was aboard Royal Caribbean’s Freedom of the Seas.

Anello is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 20.
